I saw this movie as a double feature with Soylent Green on Thanksgiving day of ’73 with my Dad and uncle, and loved them both (the movies, I mean. And my Dad and uncle too, I guess). That looks like a Cinerama logo in the upper left corner of the poster…and I don’t remember the character losing the fingers of his left hand. Hmmmm….

That’s a cool double bill! I only caught this on TV (well, I was -2 in 1973 so it’s little wonder really). I always quite liked Futureworld too, even though it’s not quite as good!

Yeah, Futureworld had its moments…I liked Stuart Margolin’s character the most. I watched this again a few years ago, and the two leads, Peter Fonda and Blythe Danner, kept making me think of Robert Redford and Zooey Deschanel, which would’ve made for a much better movie, I think.
